In 1968, Mr. Mariano Pel\u00e1ez founded Bodegas Marqu\u00e9s de Vizhoja<\/h1>

We, his children, Jorge and Javier Pel\u00e1ez, are now continuing with the management of our family winery.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Our Galician vineyards extend over 40 hectares in one of the sub-areas of the Designation of Origin R\u00edas Baixas, on the right edge of the Mi\u00f1o River. The Pazo Torre la Moreira stands out amongst them. This historical building has fulfilled the defensive needs of the terrain since the 18th century. Nowadays, it serves as an emblem of our winery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se\u00f1or de Folla Verde is our winery\u2019s most exclusive white wine, subject to a limited production. A Tea County wine composed of Albari\u00f1o (70%), Loureira (15%) and Treixadura (15%) grapes, harboured under the R\u00edas Baixas Designation of Origin. Torre la Moreira, our single-variety, 100% Albari\u00f1o wine, D.O. R\u00edas Baixas. A wine composed of our own grapes, manually collected at our Finca La Moreira along with other estates in Tea County. This Albari\u00f1o wine has the V-Label vegan certificate and is part of the Slow Food Compostela movement.
